Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates, valuation of variations, interim payment applications, payment certifications, subcontractors payment claim assessments and final account settlements for E&M (Electrical and Mechanical) projects
• Conduct measurements for subletting, material procurement, variation estimates and final accounts
• Prepare and manage contra-charge account against subcontractors
• Prepare subcontract tender documents
• Assist in preparation of contractual claims & support the dispute resolution process
• Monitor contract compliance and handle contractual correspondence
• Ensure adherence to the Company Policies, internal QS procedures, and contractual requirements

Requirements

• Degree or Higher Diploma in Quantity Surveying or Building Services related disciplines
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in E&M field
• Proven site experience in E&M QS works
• Strong ability to interpret drawings, specifications and technical documents in related to E&M works
• Extensive experience in re-measurement, valuation of variations, cost control, contract administration, claims preparation and management of sub-contractor accounts
• Proficient in using quantity surveying software and tools will be an advantage
• Proficiency in written and spoken English
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities effectively
