Responsibilities
- Cloud Infrastructure Management: Set up, configure, and maintain virtual machines, storage, and networking resources required to support cloud-based applications (Azure / AliCloud / GCP, etc). Monitor performance to ensure maximum uptime
- Resource Management: Utilize build-in tool, PowerShell, and CLI to manage Cloud resources effectively. Configure virtual networks, storage accounts, identity/access controls, and cloud components
- Security and Compliance: Implement preventive security controls to protect cloud and self-hosted environments. Ensure compliance with organizational security standards
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, developers, security specialists, and vendors, to deliver seamless cloud solutions
- Optimization: Continuously optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues across cloud services and self-hosted application platforms promptly
- Internal Tooling & Self-Hosted Services: Deploy, configure, and manage internal hosting servers and developer platforms (e.g., self-hosted code repositories, API / proxy gateway, and internal developer infrastructure)
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC) & Automation: Provision, manage, and version-control cloud infrastructure using IaC frameworks to drive consistent, automated deployments
- Continuous Learning: Stay updated with advancements in cloud architecture, DevOps/IaC tooling, and cybersecurity preventive measures
- Perform any duties as assigned by the management team of Build King Group
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in managing Microsoft Azure environments
- Proficiency in managing core Azure resources (virtual machines, databases, virtual networking, identity management)
- Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and experience implementing security controls within cloud environments
- Familiarity with security tools and concepts (firewalls, proxies, SIEM, XDR, IDPS) is an advantage
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Developer Associate, or equivalent certification is preferred
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC)** using tools such as Terraform, Azure Bicep, or ARM templates
- Experience managing self-hosted internal services, especially in Linux-based containers and virtualized environments
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to address service disruptions efficiently
- Clear communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders
