Responsibilities

• Responsible for assisting our Senior Management on project management include cash-flow, progress monitoring, contractual issues
• Assist in running the project with minimum cost and in minimum time by formulating construction planningand programming as necessary
• Monitor project progress, the standard of workmanship, and efficiency of material usage to adhere to the settarget by collecting and analyzing relevant information, coordinating with relevant parties, and formulating proposals for improvements
• Provide engineering support by formulating construction methods; and assisting in the design of temporary works and alternative proposals for permanent work to suitconstruction methods
• Conducting research and development on construction methods, materials, and techniques
• Keep work records and production figures for site managers/agents for review and improvement of siteprogress
• Serve as the main point of contact for clients, contractors, and stakeholders, providing regular updates and addressing any issues that arise during the project lifecycle
• Ensure all construction activities comply with regulations including environmental and safety guidelines
• Execute any duties as assigned by management of the Build King Group

Requirements

• Degree in civil or structural engineering from a recognized tertiary institution in Hong Kong or equivalent
• At least 7-10 years' practical experiencein civil or structural works, with a minimum 3 years of experience in civil or structural co-ordination over the past 7 years
• Experience in construction management of government projects is essential
• Good command of spoken and written English
• Good communication skills
• Professional membership such as ICE, HKIE is preferred
• Applicant with less post qualification experience will be considered for Assistant Construction Manager / Senior Engineer
